GSHDL alumni received their PhD certificates in December.
After a decade of successful doctoral education, the Graduate School invited its alumni to Kiel in mid-December. GS speaker Johannes Müller and scientific coordinator Mara Weinelt handed over PhD certificates to the young researchers, who completed their theses between 2010 and 2017. Afterwards, the joint GS/CRC Christmas party offered a festive frame for meeting old colleagues and making new contacts. At present, there are about 45 doctoral students at the Graduate School.
