The Graduate School’s International Open Workshop “Socio-Environmental Dynamics over the Last 12,000 Years: The Creation of Landscapes V” takes place from March 20-24, 2017 in Kiel. More than 270 papers have been submitted for the 19 sessions.
The workshop starts in the afternoon of Monday, March 20 with central keynote lectures by Mihael Budja (University of Ljubljana), Carole L. Crumley (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) and Andrew Wallace-Hadrill (Cambridge University) and an icebreaker in the evening. From Tuesday to Thursday the sessions run and on Friday an excursion to Eastern Holstein concludes the event.
