Ten days full of linear equations, objective functions, transportation networks and exchange models await the participants of this year’s Summer School on ‘Modelling Human Behaviour in Landscapes’.
Supported by the Graduate School, young scientists from England, Italy, Spain and Germany gather in Noer near Kiel. “Most of them are in the final phase of their PhD thesis”, says summer school organizer Oliver Nakoinz. “And as far as I know, their research is really high-class.” He expects to meet the future scientific leaders in the interdisciplinary field of modelling.
